Subject: PPP can't replace default route

Hi all,

I'd like to connect to the net with diald but can't succeed 100%.
I'm able to fire up the connection script, but the default route
(through ppp0) can't replace the default route set by diald (through
sl0).

Below's the log in /var/log/message:

Apr 20 11:24:26 futureit pppd[7808]: Serial connection established.
Apr 20 11:24:27 futureit pppd[7808]: Using interface ppp0
Apr 20 11:24:27 futureit pppd[7808]: Connect: ppp0 <--> /dev/ttyS1
Apr 20 11:24:31 futureit pppd[7808]: not replacing existing default
route to sl0 [0.0.0.0]
Apr 20 11:24:31 futureit pppd[7808]: local  IP address 202.72.1.194
Apr 20 11:24:31 futureit pppd[7808]: remote IP address 202.72.0.49

The connection script works fine without diald running.

My config: diald 0.99, ppp 2.3.5 (ppp-2.3.5-1 rpm), pentinum
redhat 5.2 box.

Any hints?  Thanks.

regards,
kokin from Hong Kong
