I can't say anything about the roadrunner service, but I can state that
you will have no more problems running through multiple masquerading
servers then you will have going through one. I currently have multiple
masquerading machines setup for security isolation and the people behind
the inner one don't realize that it is there (until they try using
microsoft protocols anyway :-)

"If users are made to understand that the system administrator's job is to
make computers run, and not to make them happy, they can, in fact, be made
happy most of the time. If users are allowed to believe that the system
administrator's job is to make them happy, they can, in fact, never be made
happy."
