Ok, I finally am able to connect w/pppd. Now I want to automate it.
Here is the command I typed:
/usr/sbin/pppd /dev/ttyS1 57600 debug connect "/usr/sbin/chat -v ''
AT OK ATD5555555 CONNECT '\d\c'"
I had run "tail -f" in another window and was watching the output. The
line above dialed, started pppd and I was automatically logged in. I
fired up ip masq and was surfin'! But, I know the line above didn't do
everything. I would like to know exactly which scripts were fired off
by the line above. Where did it get my user name etc? And which
scripts do I put the above command in?
