This is a gnome thing. gnome-session periodically sends a "save
yourself" signal to each process under its management and complains
if the process does not respond. I suspect that Netscape is completely
blocked while waiting for diald and so does not answer the signal in
time.
You can remove Netscape from the list of managed programs with the
Session Manager capplet. Select "Browse Running Programs", highlight
Netscape in the list, and then select "Remove". See if that helps.
