I have the same problem with Microsoft's regular mail program (not
outlook).  It triggers diald but times out without finding the mail server.
If I fire up Internet explorer after the mailer triggers diald then the
mailer works fine.   It would be good to find out how to fix it but this
workaround is ok for now.
