Diald calls the first chat sequence. It looks like pppd is calling chat
again.
Please send a copy of your diald.conf file (at the very least the line where
you specify the chat script to be used) AND a copy of /etc/ppp/options (or
whatever pppd options file is being invoked).
The chat script itself looks fine.
