I suggest you to use the packages (diald-config and diald-config-unmetered)
which seems to consider different config files (i mean under
/etc/sysconfig/network-scripts )
for me it works "aproxymatively".
I find the diald configuration very problematic compares to the old method
(/etc/request-route).....
