Yes. Take a look at config/auth.eg in the diald source. You
use an "auth simple <path>" option in your config to indicate
an auth file to use then you can use the auth option in the
dctrl menus to type in the name to authenticate as. (Yes, it's
*very* simple authentication :-) )
