Not so far ago there was a script posted, using several
alternative phone numbers of the same ISP. And now, when my ISP acually
provides an alternative phone number, I lost my diald-list archive due to
the disk crash. Could someone repost the script?
Another request:
I've been looking for a good init string for USR 56K voice fax-modem.
I tested diald at home with a no-name modem and it worked like a charm,
but when I moved to the production system (USR as mentioned above) the
chat conversation with my ISP usually stops waiting for the "login:"
string and never receives it. Manual conection from minicom works without
problems. I remember reading on the list some hints concerning
proper initialization of USR modems. Does anyone remember the trick?
