Why do you say we have to configure the ippp interface *whithout* an ip
address ? I configured a lot of linux redhat + diald servers (about 40)
with or without dinamic ip but I never cared to delete the last ip the
ippp got... I had some problems when I started to use 2.2.x kernel
because of the "auto add route to interface" feature but I resolved
them... If you want I can send you my conf, addroute etc. files...
please send me yours.
