Greetings,
I have been trying to set up diald to demand dial our ppp link for our LAN
to the ISP. So far I have been unsuccessful. I have read the manuals but
have not discovered what is wrong as of yet, thus I present it to you all.
I am runnnig diald on our linux router box which is IP Masquerading for our
LAN and dial in ppp ports. When I have configured and started diald, it
appears (in the syslog) to have started ok. But then when I attempt to ping
a host on the internet from the linux router I get these errors in the
syslog:

diald[2248]:Trigger: icmp 192.168.0.5/257
diald[2248]:Calling site 192.168.0.6
diald[2248]:Running Connector (PID=2263)
diald[2263]:Fatal Signal 11, eip=0x40030299
diald[2263]:Diald is dieng with code 1
diald[2248]:Connect script timed out. Killing Script.
diald[2248]:Child process 2263 terminated with signal 2
diald[2248]:Delaying 30 seconds before clear to dial.

Does this mean that the chat script is failing?
Also, are there any special settings for IP Masquerading, because I don't
know what they are if there is.
Lastly, how do you connect dctrl to a running diald?

Thanks in advance...
