The clock is not part of the chip, so unless it has built-in crystal
and on top of that is pin-comptible, it is not possible.
You will anyway need some technical information on the card,
so why not ask the producer for some programming info instead.
Thats why I use external modems and ISDN adapters that connect to standard
serial-ports. When USB is better supported with linux, this may be an
option too.
