I have been using the newest diald 0.99.2 for the last couple of weeks. I seem to have a problem with diald when I turn off the modem. What happened was that I didn't have my masquerading/filter rules set up properly, so netbios packets were getting through and rather than figure it out, I just turned off the modem. Diald seems to keep running when I turn off the modem to kill the connection, but it will no longer dial properly once I turn the modem back on unless I kill the running diald and start a new process. This did not happen with version 0.99.1. I just thought I'd see if this was a unique problem or not.
