Help !
I have been using diald for a couple of years - have set it up six or
seven times. Yesterday & today I can't get it to work.
System : Cyrix 200, 16MB RAM, 400 MB IDE drive. Red Hat 6.0, kernel
upgraded to 2.2.12. PPP and slip compiled into the kernel.
Diald - tried .99.1, .98.3 -
Minicom dials out OK.
Symptoms : diald starts up, but does nothing. ifconfig shows no slip
interface. ps -ax shows diald running.
The config files I am using have worked on other systems. I have been
working through the HOW-TOs and the other docs.
Any thoughts? Could it be the Cyrix processor?
Any help would be very much appreciated.
