I have diald configured and running fine, however there are occations when I
dial up to my ISP and the IP address of the LOCAL interface for the modem
ends up being the same as the IP address of the internal LAN interface. Even
stranger, is the fact the this seems to occur only when when the REMOTE IP
reveived from the ISP is 216.47.64.242, if this IP is different all is well
and the box routes packets with no problems.

Pentium 100 Mhz
48 Meg Ram
US Robitics 56k modem
3Com 3c509 Ethernet adapter
RedHat Linux 6.1
Kernel ver: 2.2.12-20
