what kernel versions / ipchains versions did you have a problem with? I
started using ipchains shortly after the 2.2.0 kernel was released andhave
used it from 2.2.3 through current kernels. I would have to do more
checking to see what versions of ipchians are in use (one version I
downloaded from redhat as part of the "5.2 to kernel 2.2 upgrade", the
other is stock in slackware 7)
