Hi,

I have installed SuSe 6.3 on a DELL Dell Inspiron 3500 Laptop.

With wvdial or kppp I can create Internet connections.
Now I would like to install dial to get a connect when
it is necessary without calling wvdial.

I have read the mannuals of diald and I have created
a /etc/diald.conf file and modified /usr/lib/diald/diald.conf.

When I start diald I get the following messages in /var/log/messages:

I understand that diald needs a SLIP file in the kernel. lsmod
creates the output as follows. Does it mean that my kernel does
have a SLIP file ? If not what should I do ?
