Try adjusting your server config: look for /etc/host.conf,
/etc/nsswitch.conf and check that they look in file (hosts) before dns.
If it does not help, you can set up a rule in diald config file that
ignores packets coming from your main serverr, so only the pc's in your
intranet will be allowed to bring the link up.
