No, but my question was more a generic one, also because of your
follwing comment:

That's the point.
I'm only asking whether it's planned in the future to solve such
issues with different "tuner.o" modules existing around the Linux
world, while only one can be loaded.
Only hoped that someone will answer:
yes: planned -> perhaps something like tuner_dvb.o, tuner_marvel.o,
tuner_bttv.o which register themselve at tuner.o (which will be more
a generic one then)
no: not planned -> resulting in a monolithic tuner.o like today, in
which every existing tuner enhancement had to be put in (question is:
who collect all the sources...)
And as I also mentioned: perhaps offtopic on this list
