I've tried the cards with Redhat 7.3 and now I'm testing them with Redhat 9.0. Exhactly the same, with the old drivers and the new ones.
I don't use any special patch or modification.

what Linux kernel version do you use? if the PCI id recognision code is broken basically all PCI driver code should fail, I've never heard about a problem like this.
Do you use and esoteric patches or modifications in your kernel?
