I have downloaded the latest DVB code from cvs and made, installed the drivers for the Skystar2 card. I then run the net_start.sh script to setup a data interface "dvb0_0".
If I "tcpdump -i dvb0_0" then i see some activity for a short time and then it stops. If i then run szap again to set the tuner the data starts up again on the tcpdump. After a short while it stops again until szap is run. This repeats indeninately.
Can anyone help? Or can anyone else confirm that the skystar2 card will work with dvbnet with the code that is currently in cvs.
The tuner will going to sleep a few seconds after you closed the frontend device (hold by szap). Either keep szap running or load dvb-core.o driver with dvb_shutdown_timeout=0 to disable power management.
