Hello, you should use the modules dvb-core, skystar2 and stv0299; nothing else.
unfortunately i got a skystar2 rev 2.6B with Samsung Tuner because my old "good" skystar2 was damaged. Then i saw that it doesn't work with the existing driver.
I was looking on linuxtv.org for a new driver because some mails told me that there is a chance to get my card working with it.
But i found nothing.
Is there a working driver and where to get?
Hopefull waiting .... gg
Hello Nico,
looking on linuxtv.org/cgi-bin/cvsweb.cgi/dvb-kernel/build-2.4/README:
Instructions for building the "new" driver under 2.4.x: -------------------------------------------------------
(This won't work with *2.6.x* or a kernel version < 2.4.23, so don't even try...) . . .
I have (SuSE 9.0) 2.4.21-144 ...... :-(
what can I do further ?
Then i followed the Instuctions on http://www.linuxtv.org:81/cvs/:
cvs -d :pserver:[EMAIL PROTECTED]:/cvs/linuxtv co skystar2 cvs server: cannot find module `skystar2' - ignored
what's wrong with me?
Reg. gg
I suggest you to install a stock 2.4.23 kernel and to apply dvb-kernel: it's the easiest thing to do.
Nico
