That is exactly the reason why I switched back from a 2.6.0 Kernel and a ( then current ) CVS dvb-kernel driver to a 2.4 Kernel! I also couldn't see that much performance improvement ( if there is one on a PIII 733..), had trouble big time to get lirc going, etc. So 2.6 for now is a no-go for me. Giving my 2 euroct...
