Hi Ben. Hm. I didn't found any so far. The one and only i could read was a patch for ir-kbd-gpio. This seems to be the module that should work for the Aver (maybe with slight changes). Anyway i didnt get it to work, since after loading that, i get some strange keyreports that has nothing to do with the Aver-IR. Im also unsure to what this all counts more to. Is it some for the linuxtv-ml or more for the video4linux-ml? Just the mt352 frontend is part of linuxtv, not the bttv driver. Anyway, i asked this question (rc of avertv 711) also in the video4linux mailinglist, but i get no answer until today. Damn, that im not that skilled in programming to make that work on my own. =(

Hi Andreas, Is there a howto or step-by-step guide on getting the remote working? I'm running a 2.6.7 kernel - have the 771 card working perfectly in MythTV but don’t know where to start with respect to getting the remote working under Myth? If the default keytable in the module doesn’t have anything configured about the remote button, it will print those unkown key messages in the kernel log.
