Maybe someone has an idea where I could find something for my needs
(ser2net is not the correct answer I doubt):. I want to connect two
serial ports over ethernet.

Lets assume two boxes with each having an RS232 and an ethernet port.
Both have one device connected, for example a modem on one side and a
computer at the other. The network in beetween should replace a long
serial connector cable, so that it will look as if the modem and the PC
are directly connected to each other.

Anyone knows where to find a program for this? Else I have to write my
own...

Bye, Mike
