I have done that -- reset SIGPIPE to SIG_DFL in lrmd.
On the other side, I also think lrmd should have SIGPIPE be SIG_DFL to reveal the possible issues in RAs. Anyway, I donnot test it yet, so not sure if it's really the fixing for your issue. Could you please test it and post the result to the mailing list? TIA!
