ah, from the CIB (and without a prefix added - which is what threw me)

we should probably retain or at least support the old variable
names... was there a particular reason for changing them?

i cleaned up the patch a little - any chance you can test I didnt
break anything before I commit?

(i tweaked the input parameters a bit too, UPPERCASE is not very readable)
