It's for mkdumprd version 5.0.39.

to mkdumprd is a role of each distributer...

The trouble with patching already installed software is that on
the next update the changes are lost and that typically makes
users unhappy. So, the right way is to push the patch to the
distributions, even if it may take more effort.
