By "2.0" I hope you mean "2.0.8" (or perhaps something more recent from
the mercurial repository).

Heartbeat is basically functional on Solaris 10 (and 9 and 8, although I
couldn't answer for anything earlier than that). But because use of
heartbeat on Solaris is not nearly as widespread as it is on Linux, and
because the principal development platform is Linux, and because different
Solaris sys.admins. install supporting software in different ways, then
heartbeat+Solaris may encounter different issues at different sites.

(Myself? I have found the CSW/blastwave site of additional software to be
suitable for the necessary support packages.)

Your question: Did anyone succeed on [heartbeat+solaris]?

Answer: Yes, several people. (Peronally I find the CSW/blastwave site
offers useful versions of the necessary support packages.)

Your observation: I'm trying to install ... but have problems.

My observation: Yes, I can believe that.

If you post the issues you encounter here, and include relevant extracts
from configure/build output logs, runtime logfiles, etc., then people here
may be able to offer advice. And if those issues seem to reveal
underlying bugs or documentation holes, we'll try to use that evidence to
fix them.

Hope that helps.
