Hi all,

This is my first post to this list. I hope I'm staying within the
rules. :)

I've installed heartbeat-2 (ubuntu 2.0.7-2) and it seems to be
working but once a second (roughly) the following lines are written to
'/var/log/message':

Jun 8 19:24:23 vash heartbeat: [5073]: WARN: ha_msg_add_nv_depth: line
doesn't contain '='
Jun 8 19:24:23 vash heartbeat: [5073]: info:
Jun 8 19:24:25 vash heartbeat: [5070]: WARN: ha_msg_add_nv_depth: line

<snip>

I can see the error is coming from '/usr/lib/libplumb.so.1' but I am
not sure why or how to fix it. It doesn't seem to be causing a problem
outside of flooding my logs (which is annoying enough for me to consider
it a "big problem").

Anyone have idea what might be up or how I might fix it? Googling has
proven not very useful on this.

tried upgrading?

there are even ubuntu packages available from:
  http://software.opensuse.org/download/server:/ha-clustering/

Thanks for the link!

Unfortunately, it didn't help (I tried upgrading to those packages). I also tried switching from Ubuntu to Debian (Etch/4.0) and neither the stock packages or the ones on that link got the errors going to the log to stop.

So that's four versions over 2 distros. Any idea what I might try next?

Thanks kindly for your help!

Madi
