reading your post I thought to ask you a bit about your serial port configuration which doesn't work me and nobody in the list could help me. Which version of heartbeat do you use? Are you using crm? Which baud rate did you set? The problem I have is that on SLES 10 with or without SP1 (hearbeat 2.0.7, 2.0.8) doesn't matter the baud rate I set, when I start heartbeat it reset the setting to 19200. Quite strange, isn't it? Then, I can't make the serial port connection working properly as the signal is almost immediately lost. This can be a cable problem, but I have already change it twice, I think it's likely a setting problem. Thanks in advance for your help.
