I'm planning on trying to use DRBD with linux-ha on linux to run mysql in a failover configuration. >From what i understand linux-ha detects the TCP availability of the master >server by the slave(s) and acts according if a failure occurs. What i'm wondering is if it (linux-ha) (or something else) will detect other failure conditions, such as a disk failure in the master..medium sense errors, etc.. and also act accordingly.
