DRBD will do that for you.
Is that true? As far as I know Heartbeat will only fail over if the
heartbeat signal stops. But you could write a script that calls
'/etc/init.d/heartbeat stop' when something bad happens (e.g. you
can't
connect to mysql anymore, or a query gives an error instead of the
desired result).
version 2 (in crm mode) will also detect and do recovery based on
resource failures
