Hi,

You could use Xming for running hb_gui on Windows. I do that and i am
happy with it for now :)

Another way to manipulate with cbi.xml is via cibadmin tool but that
is much harder (you could make syntax error when editing via
cibadmin).
It's better for you to fix hb_gui problem and try again. Can you give
us some information about OS and Heartbeat version your running right
now? Maybe someone could help you with your hb_gui problem? (I think
that you are using SUSE/SLES? Am i right?)
