If I install just the heartbeat only package list,
I think I'll need to use the cib to manage the cluster, is it Right ?
Then would it be possible to manage resources like nfs export, mount
devices, IP Aliasing
like it was possible to do with the previous version of Heartbeat
version 1 with RH EL 3 ?

I've read the Configuration Explained, and seems beter to mee.
Just wondering if heartbeat is working like the version 1, with 2
nodes : making IP Fail over, start services, mount devices.
Or should I use pacemaker .
Any sample configuration with only 2 nodes may help me, if someone
got some.
The cib examples apply to both heartbeat and pacemaker

This help me much.
Is there any recommandations on which part of software to
install. It seems that HeartBeat and pacemaker are mandatory.

What can be done with OpenAIS ?
Its an alternative to heartbeat.
Any start point would be very usefull...
I just need to get an IP Fail over, Apache Service, and mount
some filesystem.
Either will probably be fine for you.
Thanks for all.

That's it, I was looking for the RedHat EL 5 distribution.
Just curious that this contribution is located on
opensuse.org :)
Its "just" a convenient place to build packages for a number
of distributions.
The fact that it's hosted by SUSE is mostly unimportant
(except when allocating kudos :-).
I do not know this release.
I've already install Heartbeat on RH EL 3 version.
Is there any documentations on How Configure this.
http://www.clusterlabs.org/mw/Documentation
In particular, I recommend the "Configuration Explained"
document.
The pacemake must be installe to use heartbeat ?
Pacemaker is what used to be the heartbeat cluster resource
manager.

Hi,
I'm looking for rpm files for Heartbeat to be installed on
a Red Hat 5.x 64 bit version.
You mean RHEL-5 ?
If so, why not grab the rpms at:
http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/server:/ha-
clustering/RHEL_5/
Does RH 4 rpm should works fine ?
Thanks for your help.
