I have a set of servers that have two interfaces, 1 is the primary 10GE NIC and the other is a 1GE NIC. I'd like to minimize the occurrence of STONITH by using both interfaces for heartbeat. I understand that i would just add two mcast entries in the ha.cf file. My question becomes that my application only uses the high speed interface so the app needs to failover if that interface is down. Is there a monitoring script that exists already that would provide this? It seems like the intent of pingd is slightly different.
