remember that the resource script gets called with the 'stop' parameter when the box becomes inactive. you can write a resource script that will do whatever you want at that point.
the thing to remember is that it's perfectly legal for heartbeat to issue a stop to an already stopped resource, so make sure that your resource script doesn't do anything wrong if it gets run with stop multiple times.
