Thanks to Dave for pointing out -d is the debug switch:
I've finally got things working; the stonith line in /etc/ha.d/ha.cf looks
like this
stonith external/riloe /etc/ha.d/rac-ctl.conf
rac-ctl.conf contains:
# Peer hostname Peer ILo Hostname ILo username ILO Password Can_Reset
ILo Protocol Command
data00.nb.nl data00-rac.nb.nl rester xxx 1
2.0 off
You can make an initial check that things are working with:
stonith -v -t external/riloe hostlist=data00.xn.nl
ilo_hostname=data00-rac.xn.nl ilo_user=rester ilo_password=xxx ilo_can_reset=1
ilo_protocol=2.0 ilo_powerdown_method=button -S
