Please correct me if I am not right.
But As I understand my apache RA has status module.
I can see it from my apache script which located here:
/etc/ha.d/resource.d/apache
Please see the result of this script:
/etc/ha.d/resource.d/apache status
2009/10/16_09:19:23 INFO: apache not running
2009/10/16_09:19:23 INFO: Resource is stopped
INFO: Resource is stopped
What about allowed access from localhost (127.0.0.1).
If I understand I have access from localhost to 127.0.0.1 80
Please result of telnet
telnet 127.0.0.1 80
Trying 127.0.0.1...
Connected to 127.0.0.1.
Escape character is '^]'.

Depends on your apache package. Read its docs.

There are rules in apache conf on what's allowed to read and from where.
