When using only heartbeat(no pacemaker) is there a way to do the following
Setup a backup server such that when it tries to take over due to loss of
connectivity with the main server, it waits for confirmation from an operator
This would require that there is some kind of notification when a loss of
connectivity is detected and a call to heartbeat to go ahead with the takeover
There are ways outside of hearbeat to do this, however wanted to find out if
heartbeat has a built in way to do this or is there a recommended way to do
this.
