Your problem is that you not have the ttyS1 [COM2] enable
you need first to define this
like this in your rc.com2:
------
setserial /dev/ttyS1 uart 16550A port 0x2f8 irq 3
------
and if is just one port you have the first interface isn't the ax1 
this is the ax0
