Node (the frontend you get when you connect) has nothing to do with netrom
broadcasts. They are done by netromd. In the "Things" section of your
rc.ax25 you try to start it with:
/usr/sbin/netromd -i -p 10 -q 50 -t 5 -v 1
The suspicious part of that is the "-v 1". The "-v" option to netromd
causes it to display the software version and then quit. Try to remove it
and try again.
