I am setting up another TCP/IP server on our local packet LAN the
existing one currently uses kernel 2.0.36. I am trying to install the
new one with kernel 2.2.3 but the ax25-utils I am using version 2.1.42a
won't compile with it. I was wondering if a needed a newer version/if a
newer one for 2.2 kernels available and wher if so. I know the net rom
(nr?) and rose (rose?) interfaces are set in the kernel but need to be
able to assign the ax25 (ax?) interface perameters with a kiss TNCs and
then assign the netrom tcpip interfaces, could copy the kissattch,
nrattach ax25d, ax25ipd, and node from the other server if they will
function properly on the other server but don't know if the problem is a
change in the ax.25 kernel code (if so they very likely won't work). In
the mean time I'll have to switch to kernel 2.0.36 on that server too.
