seyon is what i used when i was active in amtor, the mode one uses is
really not an issue, the issue is, text buffers and an easy interface.
I found seyon far better than minicom when communicating with my pk232.
Really with a little thought, there is not all that much eurgancy for a
"special" program to do pactor or amtor, as linux has all one needs
included in a standardly installed installation, the expensive hardware
should do the rest.
