Depends what you had in mind ;-)

I don't mind working on the scripts and modifying it to work in a multiuser
installation -- I think the original sources work well installed into
$HOME, but not well as part of the full system. I already did some work
on that in the Debian package so far.

I also made some changes to the X11 detection; I found that checking
for X by testing $TERM == xterm was unreliable; I have $TERM == rxvt here,
and even on xterm, $TERM == xterm-debian on Debian systems. Now it checks
for $DISPLAY.

The SatTrack license does not allow us to distribute modified versions without
permission. Check /usr/doc/sattrack/copyright in the Debian package;
it has the text of the email permission for distribution I received
from Manfred Bester. Hopefully the modifications I have made so far fit
within the permission I received from Mr Bester. Obviously Debian needs
to make some modifications to integrate software into our system.

I'm now a bit concerned that the permission may not be enough.

I think we need a free software alternative.
