OK for the benefit of Karl ignore the tnos bit cos its working as well
as its going to.
I'm using kenel 2.0.35 which already has the axutils in it, I 've search
all of the man pages and there is'nt anything in there on any ax25
related subject, none of the deamons used ,etc. I have a problem getting
the netrom structure functional, I ve even down loaded the ax25 howto.
and check to see if there is any thing new. Like what the switches are
on netromd .
 ie netromd -i -d -l etc etc .
Before installing xfbb I was only using the kernel for additional
routing with kissattatch

Are netrom ports assigned to the same address and ssid as the axports ??

on my system xfbb is gb7ipt-8
ports
        gb7ipt-10 44.131.90.4 ax1
        gb7ipt-11 44.131.90.3 ax2
        gb7ipt-9 44.131.90.6 ax3
kernel linux.gb7ipt 44.131.90.2 node configed to use gb7ipt-0 ax0
tnos uses gb7ipt-5 44.131.90.1 & gb7ipt-2

Kernel ver 2.0.35
at the moment xfbb talks to node gb7ipt-0 with a kissnetd loop, telnet
from tnos is ok , and to the port gb7ipt-10.

as the forwarding partner is not immediatly adjacent and he dos.nt use
ip I need to route from xfbb to gb7xxx via netrom ,using node, and this
is where I'm having trouble(a lot !!).

Im getting close to no hair left with this one !!!

The man pages should have been installed when you issued a 'make
install'
command in the ax25-utils source directory... to see a man page... just
type
'man call' or 'man ax25d.conf' etc...

Ah.... I just looked at your original email again, you are looking for
the
man page for 'net'? What is this program, I haven't seen references to
it
before... is this what you are asking about?
