I guess you saw the post on the newsgroup about the repeater project.
I am seriously interested. I am into the hardware big time. I have done
quite a bit of K&R C programming using Borland compilers and others for
PC based and embeaded applications. I have access to MS C++. I have three
machines with Linux installed right now. I would have to by an extra
sound card.
Based on the Linux thread it did not sound like there was much effort to
get a system going. I imagin the number of programers you have requested
is to support a rapid development pace. I know enough about reading the
code to find problem and either recommend solutions of try my own fixes.
I am the technical chairman of our club. We have 4 voice repeaters. (two
2m one 220 and one 440) I have been beat over the head enough times with
repeater problems for at least a little to sink in. I could certainly
help with beta testing.
