You did the right thing. Get the latest stable kernel and then
load the ax25-util package. But since your using Red Hat like I am you
need to get the ax25-util package from this ftp source. Ftp to:
contrib.redhat.com
cd to libc6 and then i386. Do a ls ax* and that will get you the exact
package name. It will end in .rpm and use the manual to learn how to load
it.
Have fun and get that license soon. We have weekend Tech classes
here that work fine.
