Been experimenting with installing AWZnode on the AX25 system and came unstuck.
My O/S is RedHat 4.2
My linux machine is vk3bcq-1
With ax25-utils-2.1.42a installed
Also running f6fbb & tnt/dpbox
No problems
I installed AWZnode; did all the usual things - make make instal & amended
the relative files etc.
When I ran "awzrun" all appeared in order except that when I typed "telnet
localhost" I received the following:-
axutils:invalid callsign VK3BCQ-1
axconfig:port 1 not active
After trying to find the solution to this problem and meeting with total
failure I decide to strip AWZnode off the system and revert back to square
1. I did this and reloaded original files.
On retest of the original system with "telnet localhost" I got exactly the
same responce as above.I could not find the cause.
Therefore went back and recompiled ax25-utils-2.1.42a
Problem solved,system working nicely
Can any one throw any light on this one.
What I was actually trying was to make a node for the tnt/dpbox similar to
my f6fbb node
