I have a Yamaha OPL3-SA3 soundcard. In my Windows, it was show
as using IRQ 5, DMA 0 and 1 (capture). IO Base 0x534.
I can not make it work for soundmodem: the reason was
that the sm_wss.c is not allowing me to use IRQ 5 and it did not
allow the use of DMA 0.
Unfortunately I can not move the IRQ and DMA to other place.
IRQ 7 used by LP, 9 by USB. It is a PnP card, I don't know how to
change the DMA.
Is anybody here experience thi problem ? Why I can't use this IRQ 5
and DMA 0 ? In fact, my sound module works fine with this setting.
I think then it should be no problem to generate signal using this
setting.
